DVCon USA 2019 preview: Metrics Technologies

Metrics Technologies will run demonstrations of its cloud-based platform for ASIC and complex FPGA design verification during DVCon USA next week (Doubletree Hotel, San Jose, February 25-28) at Booth #1102.

Demos of its Metrics Platform will include the example of a regression suite being completed in one hour, against a more typical seven-hour runtime. The company aims to illustrate how the platform’s performance gains over traditional systems are realized through its cloud-based access to unlimited simulation resources.

Metrics Platform’s will also discuss how it leverages Google Cloud for on-demand and infinite SystemVerilog simulation capacity, big data management and integrated global workflows.

The Metrics Platform dashboard highlights critical project information based on key statistics about recent regression runs and graphs to help visualize a project’s performance trends.

Users can analyze simulation data through a web-based verification manager with coverage reporting and regression debug tools.

Metrics Technologies will also be looking to introduce attendees who are unfamiliar with the Git Workflow to the approach’s ease of use and the benefits of its collaborative workflow environment.

Metrics Technologies and Concept Engineering

Before DVCon, Metrics Technologies announced an agreement with Concept Engineering where Concept’s RTLvision PRO debugger will be integrated within Metrics’ flexible cloud-based open platform ecosystem.

Metrics Technologies said that adding RTLvision to its platform will increase chip-design engineers’ ability to identify and correct RTL and gate-level code based on quality requirements, project schedules and budgets.
