Mentor and Arm collaborate on RTL verification reviews
Arm is partnering with EDA vendor Mentor to launch an RTL Verification Design Review service combining engineering talent and consultancy from the two companies. The new service will form part of the Arm Design Reviews program.
As the name suggests, the service will aim to help Arm IP customers to optimize their use of the company’s products at the RTL level with support available across design elements such as signal connectivity, system coherency, correctness of implementation and system performance. Functional verification is a key aspect.
The partners are placing emphasis on the need to shorten or control time-to-market in the face of increasing complexity. To that end, the collaboration pulls upon the longstanding collaboration between Arm and Mentor toward EDA tool development, as well as Mentor’s specific expertise in functional verification.
Arm is running a free webinar on November 4, “Selecting the Best Design Verification Strategy for Your Design” that will feature Mentor RTL experts. Registration for slots at 10am GMT and 4pm GMT is now open now.
