Verification specialist OneSpin Solutions has extended its online resources to assist engineers working from home during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Already posted online or available interactively are:

  • live, one-to-one, customized demos;
  • user case studies and presentations;
  • white papers and articles; and
  • videos.

“There are a number of webinars in development related to RISC-V, specific design verification challenges, safety, trust and security, and equivalence checking of FPGAs,” the company said. “The program will also be launching an online Q&A session related to RISC-V verification. More Q&A sessions topics are being planned.”

The material can be found at www.onespin.com/resources/resources-overview where you can also sign up for demos and notifications as further features are added.

The company is also organizing an online Easter Egg hunt across its site as some distraction from the coronavirus crisis, by placing an “inspirational quote” within it every week until May 1. Visitors who find the quote will be entered into a regular draw with the winner receiving a year-long subscription to the online learning site Masterclass.

Masterclass offers generic courses taught by leading figures: Martin Scorsese will take you through filmmaking, Neil deGrasse Tyson lectures on scientific thinking (maybe the winner could donate this on to the UK and/or US governments), and Gordon Ramsey hopefully plays nice when he teaches cookery. There are many others.

All tool and services vendors who are taking similar initiatives during the coronavirus outbreak are invited to send details to Tech Design ForumĀ via paulATthecurationcompanyDOTcom and we will help get information out about them to the design community.
