Primarius Technologies is making additions to its portfolio of library-design and verification tools at the Design Automation Conference next week (July 11th, 2022).

The company, which has developed tools that couple SPICE with model generation algorithms to speed up the development of process design kits (PDKs) as part of a design-technology co-optimization (DTCO) flow, has developed NanoDesigner. This tool provides a design environment for memories and mixed-signal circuits that goes from schematic through layout and physical verification. The design software integrates with NanoSpice, Primarius’ circuit simulator series that offers both parallelized SPICE and FastSPICE modes. The verification facilities cover aging, electromigration and IR-drop analysis as well as random telegraph noise (RTN) and high Sigma yield analysis.

Another tool in the portfolio is PCellLab for Pcell library creation that pairs with PQLab, a PDK quality-verification platform. Other tools include NanoCell for standard-cell library characterization and LibWiz, which is used to qualify libraries.
