Verifyter offers regression analysis for six months free

At DAC this week, Verifyter is offering a limited number of companies free six-month licenses of its regression-analysis and debug tool Pindown.

The tool looks at failures caught during regression tests and attempts to identify the code that triggered the problem and sends a report to the engineer who committed that code.

Verifyter CEO Daniel Hansson said the license offer is to provide potential customers with a way to gauge the usefulness of the product over the course of a project’s verification cycle.

“In these difficult times it seems that people have time to learn new things and experimenting with new technology, but getting a purchase order through is difficult. Rather than trying to fight this, we try to embrace it. Let 2020 be a year of discovery that hopefully leads to a good 2021 for us all,” Hansson said.
