User2User Silicon Valley rolls out later this month

The 2018 Silicon Valley edition of Mentor’s User2User conference series takes place on May 15 at the Santa Clara Marriott Hotel.

Headline keynote speakers for this year’s event will be Mentor president and CEO Wally Rhines and Broadcom vice president of engineering Hooman Moshar.

The technical conference will feature two new user-oriented tracks: Tanner EDA: MEMS and Custom/Analog Design for the IoT Era; and Ultra Low-Power/Ultra High-Density Memory IP. These join the traditional tracks based on Mentor tools:

  • AMS Verification
  • Calibre
  • HLS & RTL/GL Low-Power
  • Questa Functional Verification
  • Tessent Silicon Test Solutions
  • Veloce Emulation Platform
  • Xpedition High Density Advanced Packaging

Apart from Mentor experts, user and partner speakers at User2User include represenatives from ST Microelectronics, Starblaze, Samsung, Cypress, Marvell, Nvidia, Cisco Systems and Microsoft. In addition to user experiences, Mentor will also outline the latest roadmap for each of its product groups.
