Heart of Technology, the annual charity fundraiser sponsored by EDA and VC maven Jim Hogan, will hold its 2019 event at the John Colins lounge in San Francisco on July 9, coinciding with ESDesign West and SEMICON West at the nearby Moscone Center.
This year’s event will benefit the SEMI Foundation supporting STEM education and career awareness. Its High Tech U programs have reached some 8,000 students in 12 states and nine countries since 2001, and the Foundation aims to gives high school students a better understanding of how STEM is used to solve real-world problems.
“We’re starting a new tradition by hosting the HOT Party at ES Design West and SEMICON West,” said Hogan. “SEMI and the ESD Alliance have been terrific in planning and organizing the evening.”
Delegates to the conferences can attend Heart of Technology for a recommended donation of $20 per person. Non-delegates are asked to donate $50.
