DVCon US 2020 preview: ESD Alliance
STOP PRESS: Please note that DVCon US has been shorted by a day because of the COVID-19 outbreak and will now end on Wednesday, March 4. An updated conference program is available here. Please use it to confirm whether events you plan to join have been moved or cancelled. Delelgates should also visit the DVCon US for details on healthcare protocols they are asked to follow.
The Electronic System Design Alliance (ESD Alliance) will be present during DVCon US (Double Tree Hotel, San Jose, Exhibition: March 2-4) to highlight the benefits it offers as a SEMI Strategic Technology Community representing members in the electronic system and semiconductor design ecosystem.
The ESD Alliance charter includes industry advocacy – covering global trade policies, industry talent needs and environment, health and safety (EHS) concerns, in particular – and connects design and verification to manufacturing.
Detailed membership information will be available, outlining its charter and the range of benefits the alliance offers. Current initiatives include its Market Statistics Service (MSS), risk management, growth and efficiency, industry voice, technical programs and networking and education events.
The ESD Alliance has also just added Avery Design Systems.
“Being part of SEMI’s broader mission and global reach is part of the ESD Alliance’s attraction to the design community,” said Chilai Huang, Avery’s president and chief executive officer. “For an emerging company such as Avery, the Export and License Management and Anti-Piracy Committees offer a central resource for informed information to address a variety of vexing issues.”
