ES Design West registration opens

Registration has opened for the first ES Design West exhibition, which takes place alongside Semicon West in San Francisco in July.

Hosted by the Electronic System Design Alliance, ES Design West will take place in the Moscone Center’s South Hall from July 9 to July 11, with a focus on system-design issues. As well as an exhibit floor, which will have booths for Ansys, Arm, Cadence, Mentor, a Siemens Business, Silvaco, and Synopsys, among others the event will host a series of live presentations and panel discussions.

ES Design West’s Meet The Experts Theater will host talks on intellectual property (IP), electronic design automation (EDA), embedded software, design services, design infrastructure, and design in the cloud. The keynote speakers include: Aart de Geus, co-founder, chairman and co-CEO of Synopsys; Lisa Su, president and CEO of AMD; Jeff Welser, vice president and lab director at IBM Research – Almaden; and Dean Kamen, inventor and founder of DEKA Research and Development.
