The IoT Security Foundation formed by the UK’s NMI is expanding its educational events to the US west coast with a seminar at Imagination Technologies’ office in Santa Clara.

The morning seminar on March 30 is free and includes talks on self-certification techniques to help demonstrate the security of embedded systems as well as the use of virtualization technologies to provide a degree of protection against hacking.

Speakers include Cesare Garlati, CTO of the Prpl Foundation and Pamela Gupta, chair of the foundation’s self-certification workgroup and CEO of OutSecure.
