The 64th annual IEEE International Electron Devices Meeting (IEDM) has issued a call for papers for a conference that is expected to cover devices and circuit interactions in neuromorphic, quantum and conventional computing.

The conference will take place at the Hilton San Francisco Union Square hotel December 1-5, 2018 and will include more than 220 presentations together with a variety of short courses, and other events.

The paper submission deadline this year is Wednesday, August 1, 2018. Authors are asked to submit four-page camera-ready papers. Accepted papers will be published as-is in the proceedings. A limited number of late-news papers will be accepted. Authors are asked to submit late-news papers announcing only the most recent and noteworthy developments. The late-news submission deadline is September 10, 2018.

As well as papers on devices and circuit-device interactions for neuromorphic and quantum computing and leading-edge CMOS nodes, the organizers are looking for papers on RF devices that reach up into the terahertz domain, advanced memory technologies, non-charge-based devices, package integration, optoelectronics, and sensors.
